Just wanted to ask people on this forum, what are your opinions on the current building and roofing regulations? Do you think they’re helpful and essential for the industry or do you think they’re too restrictive?
The launch of the Competent Persons scheme to be authorised by government allows certified roofing companies to self-certify on any work that is required, assuring that the work is safe and up to standard, and saving both time and money for the property owner and the contracter: http://beddardroofing.co.uk/regulations
I think these regulations are very important to the industry, as it’s a big step towards cutting out certain contracters who try and cut corners to save themselves money, sacrificing both safety and work quality in the process at the expense of the property owner. But what do other people think? Do you think that these current regulations are fine as it is? Or do you think that other aspects need adding to them?

Since you are an online marketing company, can you tell me why you are posting about roofing regulations on this primarily US forum? In addition, why you didn't bother to fleshout current building and roofing regs b/4 you ask if they're helpful and essential?
or
Is this just another attempt by you online marketers to get the name of this one specific UK roofing company out in public?
So that your client knows just how hard you are working and what impact your tactics make-should we in turn email them with our opinion? They seem like not too large a company and just might read them.
Be happy to oblige.
