I am drywalling my basement and have noticed that on several of the seams, the paper tape I used has pulled away and isn’t sitting flush anymore which is going to cause problems with the final finishing. I think the joint compound was too dry, is my guess, unless anyone else has any ideas. The question is, how do I get rid of these big bumps? I’ve tried cursing at them but that doesn’t do anything. I guess I could cut them out with a razor blade and fill the hole. Any other suggestions?
