Is there somewhere I can go on the internet and get a chart or pictures that show me all the different styles of cabinet configurations? I’d like to see drawings of cabinets with the standard sizes that they are made in. I’ve seen it before on the internet but don’t remember where. What about a chart that shows all the typical cabinet door sizes?
Thanks kindly

If your inquiry is in regard to that set of cabinets that your other thread was about, why dont you just custom make the sizes?
Build to the size that your openings are. Thats the idea of custom cabinets, no fillers.
Isnt that what you did on your own place - the picture of your cabinet work?
Another thing that you need to take into condsideration - the doors, you mention that they are going to be bought out. Are you going to give the guy the sizes that you need or is he going to buy them and you have to build your boxes to them? This is very important!

If there is such a site, it's obsolete before you even find it. I do custom cabinets and feel pretty safe saying that there are as many cabinet configurations as there are people making (or buying) them.
I designed a kitchen for some retired folks a few months ago that had all drawers in the base cabinets. They wanted to be able to get to everything in the base cabinets without having to kneel down. I thought it was a little weird until I realized that there's quite a bit of "stuff" in my cabinets that seldom sees daylight because it's a hassle to kneel down and poke around in the back of the cabinet.
Most cabinet shops will have "standard" sizes and configurations but they rarely actually fit a space without filler panels.
Doors can make the issue even more confusing. First, you need to know if you're dealing with framless or faceframe cabinets. Then, you need to decide if you want inset or overlay doors. If you want overlay doors, you need to decide how much overlay you want.
Once that's decided, you have to pick a door style. They can be slabs, or rail and stile with panels - and the panels can be flat or raised. Do you want the rails and stiles to be cope and stick, or mitered? Oh yeah, how about arched top rails? Would you like a simple arch, or a tombstone arch?
Are you confused yet? - lol
This is why I charge for design work. When you start offering options, most people get all glassy-eyed and confusion sits in.
