Does anyone have suggestions for a cad program for drawing details. I would like something to draw out the details we use commonly, things like tub deck edges and deck nosings. It is more of a want than a need so the budget does not include Autocad.

Ernie, check the archives for more info and suggestions ......lots of discussion about this topic. My bias is towards AutoCAD ......check out Computer Shopper for mail order outfits......AutoCAD LT 98 for less than $400 ...... LT 2000 for around $500.
