Dear Fred,
When you wrote, When one puts a number, like 15cfm, on air exchange and says that that should
be enough that is intellectually dishonest. One cannot in the same expression
say there is no number at the end and then provide a number.
, you were misquoting me and made a false assessment of my character.
Your mistaken comment may have been made casually and as a result of a misreading. Take a moment to review my post. There is no contradiction in my message because I was careful to place unambiguous conditions on each of my statements. Specifically, I used the 15 cfm rate based on Army research with men in a sealed chamber. This is weird, but valid information on human ventilation requirements.
It does you no good to offer false criticism or general name calling. I am not dishonest, intellectually or otherwise and resent having a stranger say so. Please correct your post in this regard.
Truthfully, Fred
*My complaint about Fred is that he hasn't finished his web site so I can read more about weatherization. What shouldn't I do myself?
*Dear Joe,Thank you for your interest in the weatherization pages. I hope you will accept my apologies for not being able to completely serve your needs in this area. I do my best to get valid thermal and moisture protection information online, but presently, demand for my on-site consultation is overwhelming. Of course I don’t know what your capabilities are and can’t assess which measures you should be wary of performing. If you have a specific problem, especially if it extends to human health considerations, feel free to email me or post an inquiry in the Energy Folder at Breaktime. My answers are based on the information and sincerity of the question. With regards, Fred
*Thanks Fred. I'll be trying to strip-mine your brain this summer. Exploitatively, Joseph
