I have 1,000’s of spotted camel crickets (aka: cave crickets) occupying the ceiling of my root cellar. Want to get rid of them since I intend to use the cellar for storage of yard supplies. They love to occupy the spaces between the bricks that form the ceiling and walls of the cellar. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the crickets? I have already tried to use an insect fogger but this didn’t work.

If your root cellar isn't too cold, you could get some geckos, they love crickets. In certain areas of tropical asia, geckos are allowed to crawl around the walls and ceilings for insect control. However, I am told that having a gecko fall from the ceiling and go down the back of your neck is really good for a burst of adrenalin. Certain species can reportedly be quite noisy, although the ones that I have had were not.
The web site http://lancaster.unl.edu/enviro/pest/Nebline/Cricket.htm recommends using a sticky "glue boards", possibly spinkled with small dabs of corn meal. The web site http://www.extension.umn.edu/info-u/household/BK577.html recommends sticky "Roach Motels". Another web site with control information is http://dallas.tamu.edu/insects/Ent-1008.html.
Some areas of asia consider crickets to be good luck. Around here, crickets only appear in small numbers and are pretty benign, so I kind of like having them around...
*Pete has a problem with too many skunks and skunks love crickets.....need I say more.Gabe
