We purchased cherry boards which we had milled into molding for the windows and door casings. But I never tought of the semi-circular window!!
Is there a place that can bend my cherry molding ?
Any and all help any matter would be great
Thanks
Steve

pop over to fine wood working forum and search for curves. Short and easy answer is no, depending on profile and size. Most curves I do is made curved first, then milled.
*When my cherries mold, I know I really get bent !!
*sgrone: You can find people with a Williams & Hussey molder and they will be able to mill your trim. I used to make it all the time. What you do is have knives ground to match your straight run profile and then mill out arched blanks for each curve. These blanks are then profiled. If you dont have any luck finding someone that will do this, e-mail me and we can take care of you. [email protected]
*There is also a process where you rip 2 pieces of molding into narrow, bendable strips and reglue in a curved form. You need to use 2 to account for the kerfs. I've read about it, probably in FHB, but don't know more about it, especially how it'll look finished clear.
*Where are you? I can do it.
