Architect seeking hardware for barn-style doors. I’ve got a pair of sliding doors that I want to mount with visible wheels onto a pole. Sounds easy enough, but i don’t even know where to begin looking. Any info will be appreciated. Links, Websites, Catalogs, Pic’s are very helpful.
To the smartest consultant,
Thank you!

Do you want to mount your sliders to a "pole" (vertical?) or to a pipe mounted horizontally to be used as a rail?
Here's one link. Not the best for fancy items, but they have the basics.
*Sliding barn doors are great - on barns. I have several but be aware that the doors just hang from a track mounted above the doors. They are not sealed from the weather and if they break loose from their side housing, can blow off in the wind. Farm supply houses - Tractor Supply, Farm and Country and Southern States are examples - all carry barn door hardware. They have web sites. Also, do a search on the web - I think National is one manufacturer. Whenever I have the opportunity, I am changing my doors over to strap hinges mounted on pintels - a much more secure approach.
*National has what you want....www.natman.comHenderson (out of Great Britain) also has some. It is distributed out of Atlanta. Check your local hardware suppliers.Good luck
*Architect with hot link - click here - You must have Adobe (these are PDF catalog pages from Richards-Wilcox).Best wishes -Jeff
*thanks to all who replied. i found something that is similar to what 'tractor supply' has from mcmaster-carr.you guys deserve a percentage as consultants!thanks again,-david
