I have a valley that meet, just a foot short of the ridge of a perpendicular roof. I have run w flashing to the top of the lwer ridge but would like ideas on how best to cap it off ro prevent leaks. WHat’s everybody doing?

I used a piece of metal flashing as a single that comes off the top roof centered on the lower ridge. After it comes out flat on top of the ridge, you bend over the corners to cover the top of the W metal.

the ridge cap from the minor ridge is going to transition across the intersecting W-valley
metal, Grace and caps will make it waterproof..it all has to die into the major ridge cap detail
interesting how new your sheathing looks under those old existing roof shingles
When installing the W valley material, if you cut and flold that top joint carefully it doesn't need anything else.
But where there is concern, some guys ue a piece of lead sheet to work over that joint, since it is flexible
