Hi,
I’m re-siding the westerly face of my home with 6″ wide vertically orientated t&G v-groove WRC siding and would like to use stainless steel nails. I’ve tried a load of places here in Ontario canada and the only place I can find that sells anything like the nails I’m looking for is Lee Valley but I’m not sure if these are suitable.
I’d like to secret nail through the tongue and face nail where necessary.
Here is the link to the ring shanked nails for the faces:

and the link to the nails I’d use through the tongue:

Can someone confirm whether these nails are the right nails for the job.
Thanks,
Wayne

The ring-shanks are ok. You might want to try a stainless spiral shank nail for the tongues. Try Maze Nails (mazenails.com). They can supply just about any nail known to mankind.
