Has anybody installed a powerstrip inside a drawerbox to be used as a cell phone/electronics charging station?
Any recommendations on how to go about doing it?
Are there any special powerstrips that you recommend?
I am trying to conceal all the loose wires for the seemingly endless phones, pagers, i-pods, etc. all inside one drawer in my home office that has built in cabinetry.
thanks, Jamie1324

Get one with spacing to accommodate wall warts. The one I have has the back half inch or so of the drawer cut out so it will breathe better. Make sure your cord is attached at the drawer and the back of the cabinet with a big enough loop that it flexes evenly and arranged so it doesn't rub. I also sleeved it with that black loom like they use on car wiring harnesses to spread out the bending action and give it some extra protection.
