I have a project coming up in which I have to replace wood siding with cement fiber siding. I have not worked with this material before.
I understand that there are some differences in the way that the materials work. I would appreciate any application hints and suggestions that anyone may have.

Cliff, find the search button and have at it. Look for Hardiplank too, this has been discussed thoroughly a number of times in the past year. There are at least a half dozen threads on this subject.
And if you need some pictures to go with it, the current FHB has an article on the very same subject. Joe H
