The agreement now needs to go through one final approval process before consumers can begin receiving payment under the settlement. During the next six months, the court will review any objections to the proposed settlement agreement. If there are no delays, the final approval hearing will take place this June, and the court may issue an order shortly thereafter. The court has appointed CAC Services Group as the settlement administrator. The company will be responsible for to providing notice and information about the settlement to consumers. CAC Services Group has created a website, www.CertainTeedShingleSettlement.com, where you can: · Find answers to Frequently Asked Questions · View a copy of the Notice of Settlement · Download claim forms · See information about the final approval hearing · View the terms of the settlement agreement · Enter your name and address to receive a paper copy of the notice and claim forms You should automatically receive a paper copy of the notice and claim form in the mail within the next 30 days if you have provided us with your mailing address. If you do not receive notice in the next 30 days and would like a copy, you can enter your information on www.CertainTeedShingleSettlement.com, call the CertainTeed Settlement Hotline at 1-888-898-4111, or write to the Settlement Administrator at: CertainTeed Shingle Settlement Claims Administrator 1400 Union Meeting Road Blue Bell, PA 19422-0761. You may also print out a copy of the claim form and notice directly from the settlement website. If you choose, you may begin submitting claims to the Settlement Administrator from this point forward. In the Notice Package, you will receive detailed information about what kind of claim form and documentation to submit; you can also view the claim form and submission information in the Case Documents section of the settlement website at www.certainteedshinglesettlement.com/casedocuments.cfm. Consumers will not be able to receive payment unless they submit a valid Claim Form. Please note, however, that claims will not be processed unless the Court grants final approval. Additionally, claims will not be handled by our offices, or by any of the affiliated attorney offices listed. Therefore, please do not submit any documentation or shingle samples to our offices.
