Vancouver, WA is undeniably the mecca for chain link fence fans (lots of sportsmen/women here and their beloved dogs!). The house I am currently renovating has a 12′ gate (2- 6’s) in the front yard/side yard that is in great shape, just ugly. Is there any way to face it with lattice panels or something that won’t compromise the shape (by being too heavy)and won’t look even tackier. Sorry about that – “tacky” is in the mind of the beholder and I’m sure all the retrievers would disagree!

Wow! Some pretty cool stuff! 'Course when I'm finished I could just put "BUY ME" on it - really tacky, but might bring in some buyers! The entire backyard is fenced, also, and there is an area that something funky might work! Thanks! - this is the first time I have done this and I'm excited to think there are options I hadn't considered.
I saw a chain link fence last spring at a design show by students from the design academy in Eindhoven, Holland. The displayed section of fence, about 30' long maybe, starts off as a typical CLF (chain link fence) and then morphed into an arabesque like motif, then back to the typical fence. It was simply stunning.
