Charging for design

Hey y’all. Do any of you charge for design, and if so, how do you set your rates? I’ve heard some people charge hourly for design, but I prefer to give my customers a solid bid both for design, and for construction. What type of price range do you use for designing kitchen and bath remodels? Thanks.
