Check your Lowes for deals on Milwakee
Not sure if this is all the Lowe’s or just the one by me but I was in on Saturday and was told that they are discontinuing carrying Milwakee power tools. Good for me as I was in the market for a Hole Hawg (heavy duty right angle drill) and came across one there listed at 259, which was about 40 off regular. Asked if they had the case and was told it was the display and they did not have the case, but they could do better on the price. Sales girl walked away and talked to the tool area manager and came back with a price of $160 (regularly 299) so I bought it on the spot (after plugging it in and making sure it worked).
May want to check out your Lowe’s to see if you can get a deal on some stuff.
Hope this helps

I got a good deal on a Paslode framer that way. It was part of a display from the "Framer / Trim nailer" promo. I didnt need the trim so I got the naked framer (the gun) for $100. I had an extra battery and $25 later for the case and I was all set.
Interesting. A few weeks ago a Makita rep told me that TTI, the company that makes Ryobi tools for HD, owns Milwaukee Electric, and makes electric tools under the Ridgid name for HD, has not renewed their licensing agreement to use the Ridgid trademark. If that is true, maybe Lowe's will no longer be able to carry the Milwaukee line.
Personally, I think this is dumb. I've seen the same thing happen with Benny Moore. As Sherwin-Williams bought up companies like MinWax and Purdy you could no longer buy those brands at the Benny Moore stores. I don't know which company made that decision, but if it was BM then it was just plain dumb. (I doubt if it was SW because I can still buy those brands elsewhere.) I usually shop for where I can get the materials that I want and need at a decent price with good support. However, when all things are more or less equal, I also decide to *not* shop where I feel like the company is trying to jerk me around.
So are Ridgid power tools history?J
It's true. Milwaukee is going to be a big box Home Depot exclusive. Milwaukee is
owned by TTI which also owns Ridgid and Ryobi, the other Home Depot exclusives.
well, there goes the neighborhood..

I'm waiting for the v18 batteries to drop a little more...they're down from $99 to $85 each, but I still can't justify spending $85 on one battery.
I did however score more recip blades than I'll ever need for 75% off!
My lowes in Maple Shade NJ had the Hole Hawg for 269 and the smaller 1/2 in rt angle drill marked down similarly. I did however score big time on recip saw blades. The 12 inch wood w/nails blades 5 packs were 5 dollars. I got a 5 pack of The Torch blades for under 5 dollars. I picked up a variety of blades all were 5 dollars or less. I got the last ten packs.
If you look in the tool area, they might not be on a standard hook but rather on a hanging temporary endcap hook display.
