I think you you are refering to "sliced", as opposed to "rotary".
That is a separate issue.What he wants is the grain to run on the 4' dimension instead of the 8' dimension.

Not sure where you're from, but Youngblood Lumber in Minneapolis carries it. Otherwise try a local cabinet shop - their specialty plywood suppliers could get it for you.
