Hi Katie,
There is a product called "Seamfil". I think you may have to get it at a paint store or countertop shop. It comes in small tubes and a chart will tell you the colors you will need to mix in what proportions to match your laminate. It is acetone based. You will need to determine the manufacturer and stock number of your laminate to use the chart. Or you can use your artistic eye and just wing it!

*are they close enough to the edge (maybe 1/4") that you can cut the counter back and put on a new self edge? or maybe cut it back 3/4" and put on a wooden self edge - problem there is, you get a seam in your horizontal surface that is a bonafide crud magnet - but it can be done. - yb

The chips in the formica are right along the seam (at the top of the seam) the whole strip started to come off so we glued it back down. that's when we noticed the very small chips out. I'm going to look for the filler first, and if that looks too bad I'll try a new edge. It's the European Formica blend (looks like Corian but a lot cheaper; I just hope it's still around!) Thanks for all the suggestions!
