Anybody have any experience with a company called Church Interiors, Inc. They specialize in renovating churches.
My church is getting ready to do a large renovation as well as maintenance and repair.
We have them (Church Interiors) putting together a proposal for the work.
I would appreciate any input on them or any other experiences you have had with church renovations.
I am a local contractor but this project may be larger than my company can handle. Its also my own church which could create other issues.
Thanks,

Hey Chris,
I have no knowledge of that particular company but my personal contractor experience makes me wonder how an "out of town" company (if they are indeed not part of your immediate area) could perform any work at a better cost (and maybe final result) than a local contractor could? By that I mean transportation costs, hiring local help (subs), etc.
I was the owners rep for a 1.6 million dollar remodel to our church 2 years ago and we went with a local company just for that reason as those even half a state away (I live in Florida) were more costly due to the logistics involved.
Feel free to email me directly if you want to talk about it or ask any specific questions. The project went really well and was on a fast track time schedule. Started the day after Christmas and had to be finished by Easter. Just made it with a day or two to spare!

I don't know of any company by that name.
The architect I used to work for did a lot of church renovations and additions, and I can give you a resource for church pews and similar elements if you need one.
I did some cabinets for my builder's church where he was also doing the supervision, not the actual work. We would both have loved to have had someone from the church with some knowledge of large remodeling projects in charge of it, especially the scheduling. We would show up to install during the week we were supposed to have unlimited access to all areas only to be told by the "church ladies" that we couldn't be in the rooms from x to y this day, a to b this day, etc. They had failed to make any arrangements to relocate the nursery services, so we would have to just come back (2 1/2 hours each way) over several weeks. They put someone in charge finally, and things went much more smoothly.
Located in North Alabama; where are you?
Church Interiors are located in Charlotte, Durham and Atlanta. I am located in Douglas, GA. We are about 80 miles north of the FLA line just east of I-75.
