Looking for advice on closet layouts. One is 6′-6″ by 8′-4″ with a door on the left hand side of the longer wall. To the left of this door inside the closet is a 3′ deep by 6′ long area under 60 degree roof line.
The other closet is about 30-32″ deep and about 9′-3″ long.
Any advice on doors and shelving units? I saw some 12″ and 16″ wire shelving but thought that they had a 14″ shelf. Any advice would be appreciated.

Darkworks: No Guns No Butter squilla and the bling bling.
On the 32" deep closet, install floor to ceiling bi-folds or sliders. Install your rods and hangars against the back wall and then build open, rolling shelves in front of them. Install fixed wheels on the bottom of the shelf units and use either aluminum "Ls" or wood "Ls" as a track. Either build 2 or 3 shelf units and make sure that you leave space to move them out of the way to get to the clothes behind them.
Oh stop it, everyone knows closets are 1.3 black diamonds deep, geesh...
How would I know? I think I will use them to build an ark if it don't stop raining soon.
Stones and rods, hmmm, interesting form of measure, but I could never figure out how to keep them the same size all the time. ;-)
Never enough shelving. I "framed" the front wall with 1x6 shelving. ran the verts full length, dadoed shelves in. lost 2" floor space, picked up 5' of floor to ceiling 6" shelving. Framed door with 2x4, made a nice detail at opening.
