Hello there,
Without getting into all the details do you think that I can drain a new clothes washer between joists which is approximately 6′ 6″ in height?
Thanks for responses,
Dennis

Most washers can pump to 8 feet or so, even though the specs may say lower.
But what is the height of the drain?
IIRC the top of the standepipe needs to be 30" over the trap. Otherwise the standpipe might overflow.
I doubt that if you have a GOOD CLEAN drain that you need 30", but you still need some measurable amount over the trap.

A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
I've never seen a joist that tall
