Hi Everyone,
I have a client who wants a large garage built and will most likely be concrete block. I don’t have much experience with subcontractors for this.
The construction is straightforward, a simple rectangle with only two openings about 10′ in height, flat site.
If you could help me out with your experiences on costs I would appreciate it.
Thanks!
Tom

figure about $5 a block Thats ust block, co slab, no roof no nothing else. A block runs about $1.50 and labor about $3.00 a block so $5 is really cheap
1.50 a block? and $3 to lay.... dang.... I'm use to pay'n .92 a block and $1.25 to lay...
i need to load up my block and block layers and come to where you are...
I agree. I remember paying .81 cents per block and .80 cents for labor. But this is Florida. Home of cheap labor and similar quality :)

Hmmm,
Well, I've got a range to go on. I guess.
I'll charge seven and import some labor from Florida
I guess!
