Never used the Collins. What's everyone's thoughts on coping with the tablesaw?
Never heard of such a thing. Do you have a picture or a web site?

Have you used both front (jig) and back (foot) cutting methods? Which do you prefer? I'm wondering how the collins would work with a top handle saw...
Works fine with a top handle, just have to run the trigger with your thumb.Tipi, Tipi, Tipi!

I have a top handled saw so I just put the trigger lock on, flip it upside down, and hold it by the barrel.Coming to you from beautiful Richmond, Va.
I've got one and I like it, not that I cope crown everyday or anything. In fact, I still prefer a coping saw, but I'm not usually doing it in a production enviroment.
Here's my experience with the coping foot in a nutshell.... follow the directions to the letter and you'll love it. Cherry pick the directions and you'll think it's the biggest waste of money you ever owned.
Also make sure it's compatible with your particular model of jigsaw.
WOW! What a bitchen tool! I hope I can say that!
