This may be intuitive or a dumb question, but if I plan on using
an acid stain technique to color a conrete floor, should I NOT
use fibermesh concrete? The fibers will probably show, but
does this detract or add to appearance?

Skim-coating with joint compound covers texture, renews old drywall and plaster, and leaves smooth surfaces ready to paint.

not fiber. I don't know your experience base with this, so I'll just say make darn sure you do all the prep, have it clean and dry, and get absolutely nothing on it until the stuff is done. At $120 a gallon, it's expensive enough without mucking up the concrete.
