Vinyl in dark colors fades in the sun....Its avoided by manufacturers...
Dark colors come in aluminum clads

*Hi Tom, I believe that Milgard carries a vinly window that comes in a deep green. If you check into it, I would bear in mind what AJ said in reference to the fading of the darker colors.....Good Luck!!Donna
*Donna: Milgard also carries a white (inside) bronze (dark brown outside) combo. They look nice, but of course good luck if you decide to change the color of your exterior trim. Brad
*The other problem with dark colors is solar heating causing causing problems with the plastic.Of course if you live in a forest that may not be a problem.
*My foremost concern would be the heat from the sun on a darkly colored window. I deal primarily with Alside. They only have white and beige but they do offer 3 interior simulated woodgrain finishes that are rather nice (cherry, honey maple and oak I believe).Another reason you may not find many colored windows is that there is not enough demand for so many colors as to make it profitable for the manufacturer. I do know that bodyshops suppliers carry vinyl dyes which are used for auto interiors. I don't know how that will work but you may want to check on it.Pete Draganic
