I am interested in trying to color/stain the concrete porch around my house. Does anyone know of a method to do this?

Jeff:
Normally, concrete is colored and then sealed during the installation process. Davis Colors is a popular supplier of concrete die. Their products are commonly available from specialty concrete supplies.
I gather, reading between the lines of your post, the concrete is already installed? If so, you can clean the existing concrete with a muratic acid/water wash solution, clean off the acid with a neutralizer, and then apply a concrete stain. All these products are available at larger hardware stores, etc.

Jeff, one means of staining concrete is with acid stain. Do NOT wash your existing surface with muriatic acid, it will no longer be possible to use an acid stain if you do. You might look at these sites, there are a number of processes for changing the appearance of your existing slab. Joe H
