I am replacing my decking and want to go with composite decking. The current joists are 24″ O.C., does anyone know of a composite decking that will last using 24″ O.C.? I have only found on porduct that claims to be able to handle it.

Anyone have any experience with Boardwalk composite decking?
I did find a couple posts where people stated that Trek will sag when using 16″ O.C. (thier recommended max. spacing).
Will Boardwalk sag using 24 O.C.??

I don't know if it's possible, but I'd probably add joists to make the spacing 12" OC. Then, use whichever decking I liked.
Don't call me daughter.
I've used the 5/4 boardwalk. It's meant for 16oc also. A bit more rigid than trex, but not that much. I see by your link they have a 2x. (didn't see the pdf, but assume it's for 24oc). I like the way the product has held up, good gription, and easily cleaned up.

i've seen a few that claim to have a max. spacing of 24"...one is correctdeck..but i dont think i'd wanna take the risk of the decking sagging between each joist...stick another joist in between each pair...
Thanks for all of the great replies. It seems like the safest thing to do is just to add the extra joist once the old decking is up.
Composite shows irregularities much more than wood. Use 12" centers - no more than 16".
Check your plane, if it is uneven, you may be best to rip it out and start fresh. Labor shimming and evening might be more costly than installing new lumber (steel joists?)
