Andy,
Or whomever sees this the soonest and knows any better.
Im buying a Thomas 2hp compressor right now, and I dont know what size hose?
Should I get 1/4 or 3/8? Does the smaller Dia up the pressure or anything?

Im tearing my hair out. I cant get the work out fast enough. I bid 11k this past weekend, and expected to fit a 2k of the 11 in in a month. The designer called and said she already has my check. lol
Oh and on top of that I got the big idea that I wanted to take 1 college course and could handle that and work. Well let me tell you, chemistry is a bear when you havent used the left side of your brain in 15 years.
So its all good and crazy.
Question is how are you? Are you staying the course? Im rooting for you or routing... I guess Im close to a truffle pig.

Andy,
I dont know anything about air equiptment... What do I have to get that goes between the unit and the hose?
Are there options, one better way than another? I figure I will set it up right the first time.

zen.
You just need the connectors. MAybe screw the one off your comprssor and take it with you so you know youre getting the right connector for that side and bring the gun with you so you also know youre getting the right connector for that end too. Theyre cheap. Only a few dollars. The secret of Zen in two words is, "Not always so"!

Andy,
My compressor didnt have a connector, just a plug.
I went and got a kit so that I had a blow nozzle and air chuck with some connectors in it. Does it matter male or female which I put on the unit or on the hose? Should the hose have 2 female or one and one?
Figure Im splitting hairs but experience always wins on wear.

I dont think it really matters. My compreeor has a female end on it and the hose "came with" one male end so I added a female to the other end as all my guns are male. I think thats the norm but it shouldnt matter unless you get more hoses and it come with a female end like mine did.
Be blown : )

The female end will hold the air in when you unplug the male.
The male end will release air all day.
So it matters which end is at the compressor.
