When reading about the computer and TV interference, it reminded me of when I first set up my home office. I used the corner of the dining room so that no window light fell on my monitor screen, got shelves put up, desk built for the spot, and drilled holes in the wood floor for telephone and net working. Finally, I asembled and turned on my computer. The monitor screen was doing a shimmy that would get worse during the night and on weekends. Took me the longest time to figure out that my monitor was less than 2 feet from the house power drop through the wall!
Did an arithmetic shift left about 6 feet and it cleared right up.
AS Just finished a complete home wiring project with networking, telephone, and cable in every room of the house. Reply to this message if you would like to know where to get stuff or how to go about it.
