concrete block pillars

What can I use to increase the width of concrete block pillars to accept cultured stone? The pillars are 24″ per side. I need to build out each side 2″ for a total of 28″ each side. The caps I installed are 32×32 and will have too much overhang once the “stone” is applied. Thanks for all suggestions. Located in Sierra foothills, Calif. so the winters aren’t too severe. Randy

    mortar some 2 inch conrete bricks on them, the grey brick

      Thanks for that quick reply. Would thinset work as well?
