I read Fu Tungs book and poured a few samples but I am confused about something. Do you use the slurry mix to fill after the counter top is sealed ( it is in that order in the book) or before it is sealed. Please clear this up for me if you can.

I recently bought the book and scanned through it. I thiought the slurry went on first to fill the pin hioles and voids, then you seal the whole mess. What page does it say to seal first?
Do it right, or do it twice.
the Grinding and polishing info starts on page 136 he does this before the inlayed brass rails are glued in (that makes sense) but then on page 145 they seal over the inlays and then wax and buff. page 154 is about applying the slurry. It says that they wipe the surface clean but won't there be problems with the slurry sticking in the holes if the have a penatrating sealer and wax already orver them. and then do you repolish or just "lightly sand" as its stated.
You might considering asking Fu Tung Chien himself. After all, he's probably interested in what confuses his readers. http://www.chengdesign.com
I emailed Fu Tung Cheng and got this response
You should apply the slurry after grinding with the 50, 100 and 200 grit pads. If you are not grinding, you should apply the slurry after you de-mold. Then you polish, seal and wax. We explain all the to our NeoMix buyers.
Thanks to Cheng Designs for the response and to others for their suggestions I off to fill and polish !!
