I have an area I prepped and formed for a 4″ patio slab last fall.
It has weeded over. Can I just weed wack it ? Or do I have to pull ’em out by hand ?
Does anyone spray something like round up before pouring ?

Problem is, if I start taking advice from you, soon I'll have to take advice from my son.
All in fun Andy, you are a good member of the board.
How 'bout a music post in "Think I'll Pack It In" it has been pretty quiet there lately. Mike

Wait until the concrete sets then run the lawn mower over at its lowest setting. LOL
White vinegar
White vinegar as a weed deterent?
Not a fan of pesticides either. Never used roundup, just always heard about it Mike

Honestly I haven't used vinegar yet, but I have used Roundup and don't plan to again.
Vinegar is nature's miracle juice. What other solvent tastes so good?
"What other solvent tastes so good?"
Water
Impossible is an opinion.
I knew somebody was going to say that.
Water's ok but I think vinegar can have a better taste (in small doses!)
Hehe.
Yes, I couldn't resist.
But I agree, vinegar in small doses is good stuff. Unless its with fish-n-chips. Then you need a lot of malt vinegar.
Impossible is an opinion.
Have you tried a bit of Balsamic on pizza? It's really good.
Much better than water on pizza, imho.
I prefer balsamic on salads and tomatos.
I love that little bite on the back under-side of the tongue.
Mmmmmm
Tarnations...... now i'm drooling for balsamic.
Impossible is an opinion.
Okay, this reminds me of the guy I hung drywall with in the 80's
An old French Canadian, he used DMSO on his back and muscles, the dude smelled like a walking garlic factory.
I remember the stuff as an industrial cleaning solvent, that was being touted as a cure all type ointment.
Seems it is still around; http://www.dmso.org/articles/information/muir.htm Mike

Real men torch em. Preferably with smoky flames, or with torches that make loud roaring sounds.
