Is not always a good thing. I recently had the pleasure to visit a 3 year old development of a builder listed on the http://builder-implode.com/ .

Very nice houses lots of eye candy, very impressive, marketed as starting in the upper $800’s. Except they installed every single window incorrectly. They used the cheapest Patriot window which if installed correctly would at least be servicable… but they got everyone wrong.

Poor homeowners are stuck between a builder that is saying to bad… A down market where they can’t sell and a repair they can’t afford…. And none of them want to raise to big a stink for fear the few buyers they may get, will be turned away by screaming homeowners saying I bought a piece of krap house.

If they could afford the repairs I’d be busy for the next 4 years… but they can’t.
