I was wondering… Does anyone know anything about
those little extruded concrete curb gizmos. I saw
a flyer on edging around landscaping done in this
method. I live in Indiana and wonder if this would
hold up to freezing etc. Any good?
Thanks.

Lost me sounds like a type of slip form...maybe
*A former employer of mine had just such a machine. Kind of a nifty contraption. It would lay up a nice landscaping edge with a ledge for the mower wheel to ride one. I believe it was electric. Just walk beside it and shovel cement into the hopper as it pooped out the edging behind it. I don't remember what the guidance system was, as they did lots of curved borders also.He bought it about four years ago. I haven't went back and inspected any of those initial jobs, but I know he's still using it today so he must not be getting any callbacks about it breaking up. I'm here in Central Nebraska, so if freeze-thaw was a problem it would be evident by now.Dick Streff
*Thank you Mr. Streff. I guess if he is still using it, it must work. I am curious how they work. There's no way I'd buy one but I'd sure like to build one.Thanks.
