Does anyone have any suggestions on study aid for the 1997 UBC General contractors license Class C. I live in the Colorado Springs area, I have the UBC and the Pikes peak regional book. The web has several options most of which are unknown to me. Has anyone had luck with Contractor exam .com? They are certainly proud of their material ($200-$300) I am willing to spend the money for something that works. Any suggestions would be a great help. Thanks

here in louisiana the contractors board send you study material whenever you file the application. This was more then sufficient material. Also I bought a book from Barnes and Noble. Don't remember the exact name of it, but it said Contractors exam study guide. I found it in the engineering section. Between the two and with general building experience, I felt prepared for the test and was not suprised by the questions.
Thanks Kyle, I am hoping for add'l visual aid material. I am one of those visual idiots. If I see it done I can remenber it for years, vs. only reading something, takes me quite a bit longer. CW.
They do have visual books for building codes, maybe that would help.
Check with your local community college and see if they offer any courses.
