When I first saw those Pony cabinet clamps(the ones that clamp them together, and align the stiles) I thought they were some homeowner joke. BUT, having to hang a couple ton of cabinets this week, I picked up a set at the True Value while getting screws and such.(IMPULSE BUY)Well….they work great! I am impressed. Left the handscrews in the truck. They have a little alighnment hatch in the side to countersink and predrill through. Then sink the screw with the clamp in place. To Cool. Best thing for cabinets since the T-Jak. Keith C. Hey, maybe I’ll do a review for FHB and get to see my name in print like that other shmooozer from our ranks.

I've noticed that Pony also has a set designed for frameless cabinetry. Anyone ever used em and care to comment?
*I've been thinking about getting a pair too Keith-what did they run you at True Value?
*$59.00 at the Hartville True Value. I think they wre on sale. Did'nt pay much attention.
*Thanks, Keith.
*Yeah, should contact Andy Engel about that, Keith. They are always lookin' for tool and material reviews. That sounds like a good one to me. Those reviews pay pretty good money.
*I've had my set for about a year and a half now. Don't use them everyday, but sure are nice to have around. My Dad laughed the first time he saw them.....now he asks me to get them out of the van! Jeff
*Yeah,I've had them since they came out too. My only complaint is that they only work for a limited range of stile sizes. Oh and the handles slip when you really try to crank 'em down. And the drill guides only work fro the a certain type of screwing procedure.Other than that, I'm not sure I remember how to hang a set of cabinets by myself without them.Tom
*How come they have to cost so much though?
*which fence, biesemeyer or unifence. please help
*Todd, you will get a much better reply if you start your own discussion on the board.
*I've had mine for about a year and half too. These things are invaluable if you do just one kitchen a year. They should make them for a wider range of stiles like Tommy B said. I pretty much don't bother with the guide holes, I just drill and screw right above the clamp, I find I have a better line of sight for the hole at 90' to the stile that way, seems faster too. Great tool, buy two pair.
*i have a set they are worth every penny it was the best money i ever spent on a pair of clamps.
