I’m using ten foot lengths of copper gravel gaurd for a cfaftsman house in Los Angeles I’m restoring. How much overlap should I use and how often should I use copper nails? Should I use mastic or weld the joints?
Thanks for any help.

I'm assuming this is around the perimeter of a low pitched roof covered with gravel. What type of roof is it? Epdm, BUR, modified bitumen? More info please.

Yes it is a low pitched cap sheet. We are restoring it as close as possible to the original look. Thanks for any help.Dan
