I have 2, a reg and a large. I think they are great for adhesive but worthless for caulk, too little control of the outflow.
ive used cordless on log homes where extreme amounts of caulk (chinking)are used, usually have to tool behind them.
Every caulking gun I have ever used has been cordless - from the $0.99 special to my current favorite, Dripless
hahaha
Dang but that was good.
Had to sit here a while to think what was going on.

I use a pneumatic gun, I bought three when a cabinet shop went under. They give precise control of the bead and pressure is instantly relieved when the trigger is released. The only downside: the hose.

I HAVE A RYOBI.... HAS A REOSTAT TO CONTROL THE FLOW..... DO A LOT OF DOORS AND WINDOWS AND IT LEAVES A PERFECT BEAD AND NO CRAMPS IN YOUR HANDS..... ALSO HAS A PULL-BACK FEATURE THAT PREVENTS AFTER FLOW AND DRIPS....
I bought the Ridgid 18 volt one when HD clearanced them out this spring. It takes both the full sized and the little homeowner sized caulking tubes. It is big. I just tried it out two days ago using an old tube of PL adhesive on a pressure treated sill plate. Plenty of power and torque, unstoppable, and it has a variable speed so I could slow it way down.
But the old tube of PL split in the inside and I kept going AFTER the PL stopped coming out quickly from the nozzle. Big mistake. The PL was backing up into the barrel of the caulking gun being forced backwards by the power plunger. I spent almost an hour cleaning out anything I could reach and then greasing the slide. Whattamess. Fortunately it worked fine yesterday when I tested it so I guess none of the critical parts got glued together. I have just learned a new way to get in trouble with power tools.
So, yes I like it. But if the caulk or adhesive stops emerging, or the tube tries to buck out of the caulking gun, STOP.

I have a Milwaukee that was given to me... never used it so I can't say anything except make me an offer if you're interested ;)
