My Hitachi twin tank compressor seems to be getting heavier every time I take it out of my truck? My wife told me to start lifting weights. I’m thinking more along the lines of the Dewalt cordless finish nailers, but I don’t know anyone who has used one for any length of time. Does Senco do the cordless finish gun trick? Not interested in the Pasload, can’t stand the smell.

I have had the Dewalt for two years now, When I first got it I thought I would only use it for lighter trim work...... Not the case at all. I have been so impressed with this thing I can't even tell you! It holds a charge forever, It has never jammed, smaller nail holes, I could go on and on. I could not recommend it enough, seriously.
I used my dewalt last 3 weeks building a fence.
I used it to put 8 2.5" nails in the end of each of my runners which were 2x2 cyprus that I was afraid of splitting with larger nails shot well over 1000 in 3 days without one failure and only had 5 or so curl back. Then nailed my face boards with 2.25 8's and the runners held strong.I use my Dewalt all the time as an extra hand by nailing samples or jigs.
The nailgun and my cordless saw and my impact driver all 18 volt is near the idea setup for me and I wish they would comeout with a door planer. My next 18 volt will be the cutoff tool.

Seriously?That's good to know - thanks man - seriously...JT
Wow!
Thanks for all the input. I am having a medical emergency in my family and haven't been on the computer for a while, but I have read your postings and I think I'm going to get the Dewalt. I am suprised Makita or Bosch hasn't done it yet
No hoses for me... Doug
I love my Paslodes, but I don't have all that great a sense of smell.
Maybe get a set of noseplugs?
cheaper route is to pick up a little compressor.
the Dewalt reviews sound promissing ... but I went and bought a little compressor instead of buying the finicky paslode.
I'm glad I did.

So did I - and it's a great thing - makes all of my guns, 15angled, 16straight, brad and narrow crown staplers able to be used on very short notice or on small jobs with very little hassle.I picked up the Bostitch Trim-Pro - highly recommended. Small, 19-20lbs., 10-15second recycle and quiet.Having done that, if I owned Dewalt 18volt tools - I'd be telling you how cool the cordless nailer is, cause I'd have one (or two!). If Bosch made one - I'd have one of those and be singing it's praises here as well.I've used my buddies Dewalt 18volt gun, and it is handy. Although seemingly bulky - in use, it's not too bad and beats the heck out of draggin a hose around.JT
