5/8 to 3/4 “ hole, 12â€OC, 8″ in from exterior wall all around the building.
Hole filled with a cork driven flush with existing VCT.
Medical clinic in Colorado Springs, CO.
Built in the early 1970’s
Slab foundation
CMU Block walls
Termites are not an issue.
It is in a flood plane.
Any idea what the holes could be for?
(I would include a picture but if you placed a penny every 12†on the floor along a wall you would have the same image)
[8 inches in not feet..got to use the SHIFT key, duh]

"why arn't termites an issue?"
That is how the delima was presented. In the meantime I did some searches on the net and it does look like there are termite treatment co.s in Colorado Springs. If the business is there I would bet the termites are as well.
Termite treatment does seem to be the logical answer.
