Happy holidays to all !
I am looking for some advice concerning the correct subflooring to go under hardwood floors. This is in a remodel job in which the center of the floor was raised 1.5 inches in the center of the floor. (The previous owners decided to have an open basement by removing two of the posts from the main beam) I removed the 3/4 chipboard that was over 1×10 diagonal planking. The diagonal planking is not straightest from plank to plank and I was wondering if 3/4 plywood over the planking woould give me an acceptable subfloor for hardwood flooring or am I SOL. The planking probably would not be great option to remove as all walling is on top of it. Any advice would be appreciated.

3/8" would be good enough if well glued and nailed with construction adhesive. 1/2" better and 3/4" would do the job even without the old diagonal under it.
So pick what works the dimension available to flush best to other floors in adjacent rooms/areas
