Maybe this will help you get some answers
What IS that area? It looks like it might be a covered porch, supported by a post on the corner.
If so, why do you need a short wall section between the main building and the post?
Leave that mini-wall out, use corner trim as usual and flash and install header trim to match the real windows and supply a stop to the soffit.
