Cost Effective Exterior Wood for Corbels and Window Molding???
I’m looking to replace some corbels and molding on the front house, located in the North East.
Can anyone recommend a good moderately priced wood that I can use and prime and paint with latex? I’m looking at white pine or pressure treated pine.
Sincerely,
ww

inexpensive exterior wood
treated pine would work but you would have to let it dry out awhile before you paint it, white pine does not do well outside, southen yellow pine is good to use if it is availble in your area

Look into PVC trim boards such as Azek. It's not exactly moderately priced until you consider the cost per years of service. Then, it's a bargain.
