Ok its getting Hot & everybody wants AC, Need to run the Line set. Its all Townhomes and you need to ask the HOA (Home Owners Association) if you make any changes to the outside of your townhome. Along comes Joe Fly by Night AC inc. Installs the following, takes money & runs, Now homeowner is caught between rock & hard spot. Our most people this lame or is this guy a good salesman? I kind of think the hole thing looks like a dimond on a Goats Asz

Where's the condensate line? A great big wet spot centered under that gable would really enhance the curb appeal.
Ralph,
The condensate line comes out right above where the line set enters the gable, so it drips on the drive @ the garage! Craftsmanship at its best!
Why not, there is no aesthetic ther nohow.
Junkhound,
As soon as they install the clothesline to the unit accross the street and hang out their underwear to dry then we will have some aesthetic!
Well, ima gesin ah mus still be ah po folk, 'cause we still alwaysmhang our clothes on da line;
However, your politically correct rea statement should have been :
'the adjoining tennents are practicing environmentalists and prevail themselves of nature's gift of a solar clothes drier, thus adding aesthetics to the neighborhood' .
. . then go on to say that
'decisive lines of the distinct round and black bold angular paraxial strokes upon the side of the building lend an ambience to an otherwise devoid exterior' .... you gotta take some re add lessons, boy!.
Reminds me of an FHB mag discussion quite a few years back where someone ran a 3" ABS pipe down a dining room corner, and RE agent called it ambience - a letter asked "wouldn't the ambience be even better if a clear Lucite pipe were used"?
Anybody remember that print discussion? Or who wrote the above comment (quote only from memory). One for Andy to dig out of the archives?
Boy, one more 90 and at least it could be centered on the gable...
I'll bet it was a good price!
Paint it red and call it a feature. When asked about it wax poetic about the abstract criticism of the post-industrial ethos....
your post have to be the funniest ones to read here...
Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark, Professionals build the Titanic.
wax poetic about the abstract criticism of the post-industrial ethos...
About the time I say "post-industrial ethos," I just want to pull out heavy weapons and decimate moles. (Ok, far too much experience smiling while being fed an open-face excrement sammitch lately--apologies for not being insincerely glib <G>).
I have to say that I like the "near prototype" shutter installation upstairs. Overlapping the janb trim was a nice touch. Getting shutters half the width of the windows would have been nicer. Can't tell if they are on "backwards."
