Hi everyone I am redoing a brick fireplace with granit tiles. there is a few spots on the fire place were I have to but the granite at a 90 degree angle. I was just wondering if the granite would look ok with the edge of the granite showing. I really don’t want to start putting edging on the ends because I want the look of the granite to be as natural as possible. Does anyone have any suggestions.
Thanks everyone

You can mitre the edges of the granite with a good wet saw.
Most come with a 45 degree block that clamps to the sliding table, that the stone then rests on. Take your time with the cuts so the edges don't chip.

Ditto on mitering the corners. I have seen granite tiles used several times where the edge of the tile was left exposed, like on the edge of a counter, and it always looks tacky. If you don't have a wet saw that will miter the edge, you could use an angle grinder with a diamond cut off blade and free hand it. All you need to do is cut it back enough so that the finished faces can line up and leave room for the grout.
