When do you have to worry about a crack in a foundation? The one I see runs down the wall from the corner of a window vertically to the floor. I assume the foundation is reinforced with rebar. Poured concrete foundation 2 years old.

How wide is the crack?
I'm sorry, I thought you wanted it done the right way.
It is not a wide crack - no water leakage. I don't think it is growing.
That's a typical spot for a crack, and may not be cause for concern. How wide is it? Is it growing? Are the planes displaced from each other? Does it leak? Admit slithering things?

Other people can talk about how to expand the destiny of mankind. I just want to talk about how to fix a motorcycle. I think that what I have to say has more lasting value. --Robert M. Pirsig
In general, if the crack is less than about 1/4" wide and there is no in-out or up-down displacement of one side vs the other then no need to worry. In fact, such cracks are generally considered "normal", more or less.
