I’ve had a wonderful antique builder’s transit (with original tripod) for twenty years. A couple of years ago, I lost the piece that mounts it to the tripod…it has an unusually fine thread, and I haven’t been able to come up with a replacement for it, or even a good make-do solution. Any ideas or sources for parts?
