I’m looking for a set of plans for my next residence. I’d like to build a craftsman-style or arts-and-crafts style design.
I’d prefer about 2,500 sf, which means two-story. I’d like to find something that has a fairly traditional floor plan (in other words, no great room) and some of the features that make craftsman houses so cool, like windowseats, built-ins, and so on. We don’t have many houses of this design out here in the northwest.
Anyone know of a firm that specializes in this type of plan? It doesn’t matter to me if it is an original design or a reproduction of a historical house.
Thanks for your help!

There are several companies that specialize in that class of plans.
I don't have the name of any of them, but get a copy of American Bungalow Magazine. It is a Quarterly that should should avaialbe at most of the big bookstore.
They also have a website http://www.americanbungalowmagazine.com/
Check at the Resources, the Forums, and Bookstore sections.
You might also want to check the back issues. They have had several articles on people that have built modern A&C style homes.
Also Taunton has a Best of FHB on Craftsman Homes.
There are many websites where you can find plans for many style homes. I decided to write because both styles are very appealing to me. I am partial to a mix of the two styles with more of a craftsman style influence.
