Rigid 10″ Table saw. Large work surface to accommodate cutting a full sheet of plywood in half. Belt driven motor runs great. Blade tilts to 45 degrees. A little rust on the work surface.

Buyer beware, huh?
Saw similar kit at the HD a few days ago on slae for $99.00.
That's just more proof that you gotta educate yourself before you by in the used market (craigslist, ebay, pawn shop, auction etc.).
Auctions are the ones that crack me up.
I try not to go to the weekend ones.
.99 cent flooring went for 3.65
But I did score a 45" Thermador 6 burner cooktop 100 bucks---- retail was 2,000
A lot of my tools are from "out of business" auctions during the week.

I might jump on that saw. As far as the drill goes, me thinks someone got a decimal point in the wrong place!
Now, where is: Downtown?
"Objects in mirror appear closer than they are."
Klakamp Construction, Findlay, Ohio - just south of the Glass City
LOL... yeah you gotta take the good with the bad on Craig's List. That being said, I've scored some killer deals on great used equipment there and sold off some stuff that I probably never would have gotten rid of otherwise.
The job offers are the ones I find funniest. There one that's been running for a guy looking for someone "experienced in all phases of construction" that can can handle bidding, ordering, scheduling subs, handling customers, as well as the onsite carpentry. Must have a MA construction supervisor's license, vehicle, and all their own tools. Starts at $17/hr. LOL.... good luck with that!
That ad would get swamped here. If you want to see some really cheap offers, look at the Texas ads. I swear, you need an MBA, 100 years experience and more tools than Graingers to get double digits.... Bob's next test date: 12/10/07
LOL.... I know what you mean. Even still, while I have no doubt that things are probably worse in Texas than in MA.... you gotta at least consider cost of living.View Image
I was going to make the same comment that Jim made, down in TX that same ad would be for $13 an hour.
Hell I'd go work at Home Depot or Lowes for $10 an hour first, make a game out of dodging the customer and acting like I didn't know shid!
I'm sure your cost of living is higher in the Boston area but both offers are insulting as hell.

A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
Ahh good ol' Craigslist. I just got back from picking up a near new condition Unisaw, Blum Hinge press, and a Delta line bore. The best part was the $500 price tag. The bad part, no where to put the stuff.
how many are "hot" at those prices????

You just tell the guy 'sure I'll start at $17hr but all the other hours after that are $75
I need some to change the oil in my vans. I have a ¾ ton cargo van and a mini van. I will supply all the oil and filters. I also have tools (but your welcome to use yours). I do think this would take someone very long. Send me a quote. I am in the Northland.
Apperantly this guy missed the 50 other places that do it for about 20 bucks, forget the fact that's he's a dude with a 3/4 ton van and should be able to change his own oil if he has the tools and material.
I have a small bungalow that I need painted before May 15th. Please provide references and pics of your work if possible. Let me know if you need additional information.
Guess they expect the price without seeing the house.... $50,000.01... she did say it was "small"
I need someone to replace a small shut off valve underneath the kitchen sink. It shouldn't take more than 20 minutes, therefore, this job pays $20.00.
Im rehabing an old house and Im looking for someone who can do work inside (walls, carpet, paint etc.)and out (landscape, etc.). I dont have a lot of money at all to get the work done but Ill be able to provide some type of incentive for daily work.
So not a lot of money, maybe a daily reach around?

They are, the Northland is shorthand for the portion of Kansas City MO north of the Missouri River. CAG lives in Snobland 30 miles to the west.

snobland?
Nah, that's OP where you're at...
People around here are more wanna-be granolas. ;)
Wanna be granolas? Thought they was all granola. Quite frankly there's no snobville in OP, just a very large inferiority complex about nobody knowing that you are the third largest city in Kansas.
What's OP, Overland Park?
Edit: never mind; just looked at your profile. I used to live in Olathe. (Moved away almost 30 years ago.) That's close to OP isn't it?
Most nights are crystal clear, but tonight it's like he's stuck between stations.

Actually Olathe borders on some area of OP now. If you haven't been back in 30 years you wouldn't recognize it at all. Olathe still gets all excited if they try to put any Johnson County offices any where but there.
I'm sure I wouldn't recognize it. 30 years is a long time for ample progress.
A couple of years ago, out of the blue, I heard from an old friend from there. He said the only thing still the same were the houses we lived in.
Most nights are crystal clear, but tonight it's like he's stuck between stations.
You probably wouldn't. I've lived here since 1971 and I tell people that I remember when 103rd Street was a gravel road and they look at me like I'm a friggin moron. The street we lived on used to be dead for cripes sake!
granola eh...lotsa fruits, nuts and flakes?

Mostly nuts in Larrtown. It is the liberal capital of Kansas. A lot of those that don;t know the 60's are over and The Man won. Some of them will not recognize the ntional baskeball championship because athleyics has no place in college. Everybody else bought ten of them national championship t shirts. Be seeing those for thenext 20 years.
If you want to find lawrence on a map, wait until an election, look for the blue speck in the sea of red.
You're forgetting that democratic machine called the'Dot, you know Wyandotte County. Don't forget in that big old red state that half of the Representatives are blue. Once all them farmer out west die off and send their kids elsewhere to find job we'll just be another Missouri, going whichever way the political wind blows.
