Hello gentlemen,
Have any of you used this saw at all? I’ve got 7 door frames to trim , just wondering if this thing is any good? Thanks. Rod

Is this the jamb saw by Crain? Crain is good stuff and expensive. For me, cutting jambs on just seven doors is not enough to justify the expense of a special purpose saw like this. If you're a floor guy it most likely IS worth the money. As a remodel carpenter I use a Japanese pull saw and floor thickness guide block.

like Ken said......if it's the jamb saw...nive but pricy......which is why I rent it! 7 doors should be half days rental.......which would be about $25 here. Last one I rented was working in a new area where I couldn't find a tool rental.....but the local HD carried it. Jeff She's exotic ,but not foreign, like an old Cadillac......she's a knockout!
